Abstract

Purpose: This study was designed to evaluated the effects of Stress Urinary Incontinence Management Program.

Method: The data were collected from Januany to March 2003 in Jeongeup, Korea. The subject consisted of 42 middle aged women from 30 to 60 years of age. Experimental group were questioned stress urinary incontinence, sexual satisfaction and quality of life. The maximum and minimum pressure of circumvaginal musde(CVM) contraction and CVM rating scale total score were measured at pre-post treatment. Data were analysed by SPSS/PC+ using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and paired Hest.

Result: After the Stress Urinary Incontinence Management Program, the stress urinary incontinence symptom of women was significantly lower before the program(paired t=3.357. p= .003). After the Stress Urinary Incontinence Management Program, the CVM rating scale total score of women was significantly higher before the program(paired t=-8.974, p=.OOO). After the Stress Urinary Incontinence Management Program, the mean pressure of CVM contraction of women was significantly higher before the program(paired t= -7.074, p=.OOO). After the Stress Urinary Incontinence Management Program, the mean maximum pressure of CVM contraction of women was significantly higher before the program(paired t=-4.319, p=.OOO). After the Stress Urinary Incontinence Management Program, the mean minimum pressure of CVM contraction of women was significantly higher before the program(paired t~-9.835, p=.OOO).
